Services and Information

The most southern city in the world

The capital of the Tierra del Fuego province gets its name from a yaman word that means “bay that penetrates to the east”.

It is the most southern city in the world, at the end of the land or at the beginning of everything, as the people who live there like to call it. It is surrounded by privileged geography, completed with a fantastic and unique landscape that includes snowy mountains, lakes, glaciers and native forests.

The climate is not as hard and rigorous as in the Chilean counterpart, so you can visit Tierra del Fuego at any time of year, practicing different types of activities in winter (snow related), and summertime (water sports and adventure activities).
