Buenos Aires and La Pampa

This region includes approximately 600,000 km ² of the Argentine territory and it is characterized for being an extensive plain between mountains. This zone limits the north with San Luis and Cordova, to the east with Buenos Aires, the west with the province of Mendoza and to the south with the Colorado river.

The climate of this region is characterized for being warm and humid, with abundant precipitations that diminish towards the south and the west. These climatic conditions give rise to ample valleys that cover with a green grass a fifth of the Argentine territory. The Pampan plain is one of most fertile of the world, which allows the development of the farming sector, especially in the northeast zone of the province, by abundant rains and good quality of the ground.

In the cereal production it honors especially the wheat, maize and sunflower; meanwhile in the cattle scope it is the raising and fattening of bovine. The beekeeping has been gaining market these last years.

Between his main cities is the capital Buenos Aires and the wonderful beach of Mar de Plata. Buenos Aires is the commercial center of Argentina and counts on diverse cultural and historical spaces that altogether with the European architectonic constructions (mainly of French, Italian and classic origin), grant a special attractive to the city. Whereas Mar de Plata, located in the coast of the Argentine sea, counts on beautiful beaches and the greater hotel infrastructure of the country.

The Argentine Pampas account with multiple localities to develop the minitourism. Among them: San Isidro, Tiger, Sweeping, Luján, San Antonio de Areco, Chascomús or Lobos.

The landscapes highlands of Tandil and Ventana along with the river basin of the Salado river are attractive to practice ventura tourism and the pleasure to contemplate beautiful natural panoramas.

Diverse activities can be practice in this zone. Among them: historical and cultural tourism in Buenos Aires, swimming and sports in the coast, fish sport, trekking, tourism ventures in the mountain ranges and observation of flora and fauna.
