- Services and Information
Federal Capital
Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina and one of the most important cities in Latin America. Its classic and European architechture gives it a singular air, which makes many people say the city is similar to Paris.
Being the most important city in the country, Buenos Aires has quality equipment and infrastructure when it comes to hotels and food services. Its streets feature historic monuments, theaters, movies, museums, public buildings and official buildings, as well.
Night life takes place in the civic center and in the different barrios (neighborhoods) of the capital. There, you can enjoy typical food, crafts markets, music and couples doing the tango in the streets of Buenos Aires, a colorful and must-see trip.
Even though Buenos Aires is one of the most modern cities in Latin America, it has been able to combine those modern airs with traditions that have been kept over two hundred years of history. It’s possible to see them all when walking around the different districts and barrios, so it is recommended to make an itinerary with the places one wants to visit or ask for a guided tour, due to the number of things to see and the size of the city.
