Description

Day 1: Buenos Aires
Arrival in Buenos Aires city, the gateway to the Argentine Republic, and transfer to the hotel. Check in. In the afternoon, city tour visiting the main sights of this large, important city, such as Plaza de Mayo (May Square), the Congress building, Puerto Madero, La Boca, Recoleta and Palermo. Return to the hotel.Day 2: Buenos Aires / Ushuaia
Breakfast. Transfer to the Metropolitan Airport to board a flight to Ushuaia. Arrival in the southernmost city in the world and then, transfer to the hotel. Check in.Day 3: Ushuaia
Breakfast. In the morning, visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, reaching the furthermost spot of the continent, Bahia Lapataia (Bay) on the shores of Beagle Channel. We also visit Roca Lake, which sets the boundary between Argentina and Chile; then, Bahia Ensenada (Bay), and finally the engineering works, amazing natural dams made by the beavers. Reaching this place is like reaching the end of the world, full of stories about adventurers, pirates and aborigines. Return to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will navigate Beagle Channel that reaches Les Eclaireus Lighthouse, a landmark on the channel. On the way back, visit to the Isla de Lobos (Wolves Island) and Isla de los Pájaros (Birds Island), both of them, wildlife reservations of this part of the Argentine Patagonia. Return to the hotel.Day 4: Ushuaia / El Calafate
Breakfast. Transfer to Ushuaia airport in the morning to board a flight to El Calafate city. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Check in. In the afternoon, we suggest the visit Estancia El Galpón del Glaciar, a typical Patagonian sheep ranch that offers walking tours, spotting birds and the local vegetation. Once back in the main house, we can take part in sheep shearing and wool processing activities. The day ends with a spit roasted lamb on lenga firewood, and a folklore show of traditional dances while night falls in the Patagonia.Day 5: El Calafate
Breakfast. Visit to Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the greatest experiences in the Patagonia. In order to do this, we must leave for Los Glaciares National Park, 48 miles from El Calafate city, and go through the Patagonian plateau, completing the first approach with a Sailing Safari, so as to get near the walls of this imposing, over 200-feet-high glacier. Then, there is a walk along the long runway just opposite the glacier from where it can be admired in all its beauty. It was declared Heritage of Mankind by UNESCO. Return to the hotel in mid afternoon.Day 6: El Calafate
Breakfast. Free day. We suggest Argentine Lake navigation to visit other glaciers. In order to do this, we must leave for Puerto Banderas in the morning, to board an open top tour boat to do the navigation visiting Upsala and Spegazzini glaciers. You will also have the chance to get off at Bahia Onelli (Bay) and walk through a forest up to Onelli Lake to see three more glaciers.Day 7: El Calafate / Bariloche
Breakfast. Transfer to El Calafate airport to fly to San Carlos de Bariloche city. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Check in. The rest of the day is free.Day 8: Bariloche
Breakfast. Visit to the outskirts of San Carlos de Bariloche city, tour known as "circuito chico" (small circuit), visiting Nahuel Huapi Lake, the Llao Llao area, the Panoramic Lookout Point with an incredible view of the surrounding lakes and mountains of the area. There will be a short walk through one of the woods surrounding the city, and later, a visit to a factory of local deli goods. Return to the hotel.Day 9: Bariloche
Breakfast. Free day. We suggest the visit to San Martín de los Andes city. We leave through National Route N° 237 heading north for 12.6 miles, up to the intersection with complementary route "F". This part of the road is winding and with plenty of natural beauties. We pass by Puerto Manzano and arrive in Villa La Angostura. All along the route of the seven lakes we find: Lakes Correntoso, Ruca Malen, El Portezuelo, Villarino, Falkner, Hermoso and Meliquina, and finally arriving in San Martín de los Andes, by Lacar Lake.Day 10: Bariloche / Buenos Aires.
Breakfast. Transfer to San Carlos de Bariloche Airport to fly to Buenos Aires. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Check in. The rest of the day is free.Day 11: Buenos Aires
Breakfast. We suggest the visit to an estancia (ranch) in the outskirts of Buenos Aires city, where you will enjoy life in the Argentine countryside, and get to know the customs of the typical inhabitants of the pampas: the "gauchos". There are skill exhibition shows on horseback, a typical Argentine style barbecue with excellent Argentine wines. Return to the hotel.Day 12: Buenos Aires
Breakfast. Transfer to Ezeiza international airport to board the international flight.
