It is one of the most important cities in Argentina, right in the middle of the valleys in the country. Cordoba is province and city, with modern infrastructure for tourists and residents. Its long streets and imposing buildings give it a modern but elegant look, which can be appreciated in daylight and at night time.
Cordoba has a network of technological communication and roads of the best level with highways, roads and an airport. In spite of the growth of tourism in other parts of the country, Cordoba maintains a constant flow of visitors all year, which increases in the summer.
It is a city with history. There, the second university of Hispano America was founded, in 1614, event that made people refer to it as “the doct one”. Today is, also, the second most populated city in Argentina, following the federal capital: Buenos Aires.
The civic center is the main attraction of the city, with long walks and buildings that were constructed in colonial times. For the same reason, several circuits have been established inside th city so tourists can get to see all the corners of Cordoba, find out about its historic importance and spend time surrounded by its beautiful landscapes.

You can take walks around town, there are several circuits available to all visitors which take you to different parts of the city and the civic center, including museums, public buildings and open areas.
Outside the city, there are other attractions for tourists. One of them is the Traslasierra Road, where you can see three water reservations and the amazing mountains in the area. This circuit includes the Camino de las Altas Cumbres (High Hills Road) and Pampa de Achala, amongts other important spots.
Parks and reservations are other places to visit. Amongst them you can find the Quebrada del Condorito National Park and the Achala National Reserve.

From Buenos Aires through RN9. The same route takes you there from Salta, Jujuy, Santiago del Estero and Tucumán.
