Founded by the first president of Argentina, Colón is located in the Entre Rios province, by the Uruguay River. It is a quiet town, serene, that invited people to rest and take relaxing walks by its streets and surroundings. Thanks to tourism development, Colon has better industry that has created and improved hotel and gastronomical infrastructure to receive tourists from southern Argentina and from the other side of the border. Today, in Colon you can find well-known hotel companies and modest guest houses, as well as typical restaurants and other places that serve international food. Natural beauty is displayed as soon as you enter the town. Neaby Colon there are several beaches and seasides, with serene waters to enjoy with family and small children. Outside the city there is the El Palmar National Park, created to conserve the Yatay, a kind of palm tree. Today, it is the home of thousands of native species in flora and fauna, some in extinction danger, which can be photographed at leisure by all visitors. Besides the hotel and gastronomical infrastructure, in Colon you can get craftwork at a good price. Thousands of artisans from all the provinces in the northern part of the country travel to Colon to be part of the Crafts Party, where they can exchange stories, art, goods and techniques with other artisans.

Visit Colón, a small town in Entre Rios, where you can enjoy beaches, restaurants, casinos, malls and spend your time with many other activities, out in the open.

Also visit El Palmar National Park, home of the Yatay palm tree, which creates a wonderful image when the sun sets behind them. The Park features a thousand species, a delicate ecosystem that is ever protected by the government.

In Colon you can spend time at one of the many beaches and seasides, they all feature calm water that is the perfect ally for family vacations. At the same time, you can visit the General Artigas International Bridge, which connects Argentina to Uruguay.

How to get there

From Paraná, by land, through RN18 and then RN130. From Buenos Aires, the trip is made traveling through RN9, RN12 and RN14.

Daily flights leaven from Buenos Aires to the airport in Paraná.
