<San Javier is a small town nearby San Miguel de Tucuman, known for its beautiful landscapes and tranquility, ideal for spending a nice vacation time. The San Javier hill is in the background, and the villa was the place chosen to place a statue in honor of Christ, Cristo Redentor, in 1942, which is 28 meters high and weights 35 kilos.

The first place of importance is the San Javier Mountain Range Park, which is maintained by the National University of Tucuman. There, native species get to live, protected by laws and men who work there, keeping them away from danger.
There are over 14 thousand hectares of forests, valleys and mountains, all protected, where the fragile ecosystem survives thanks to the help of the forest rangers who live in the park all year round.
San Javier Park also features a series of trekking paths, which are perfect for people who want to spend a couple of days walking around, getting to know the place and enjoying the forests and fauna species that live in the area.
